About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents, provide security for client property and personnel, and frequently offer information and customer service to clients’ employees and customers.

For this assignment, the schedule is Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM and Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The officer will use a Vision device to observe and report incidents, conduct hourly rounds checking two doors, answer alarms, and handle emergencies. Professionalism and excellent customer service are required. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Be professional.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; the work may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.

• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit; no experience is necessary, and training is provided.
