About The Position

First Coast Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at an assigned site. The officer monitors entrances and other access points, conducts interior and exterior patrols, stands guard at assigned posts, assists visitors, and responds to safety concerns. The role requires alertness, compliance with post orders, and documentation of activities during the shift. The position is available full-time or part-time and may involve second shift, third shift, school hours, or weekends. Travel is not required.

Requirements

• Hold a current security license (Guard Card).
• Be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Pass drug screening, driving record check, and background check.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years old, or at least 21 for a driving position.
• Have proficient English communication, reading, and writing skills.
• Be able to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 40 pounds and bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for extended periods as needed.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
