About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols. The role involves maintaining a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors; responding to security incidents and emergencies; upholding company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements; and protecting sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access. Duties also include resolving and de-escalating conflicts, performing access control, conducting patrols, and operating surveillance and security equipment. This is a full-time position at the Carol Stream, Illinois site, paying $18.00–$20.00 per hour. No prior experience is necessary. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
