About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer-Driving to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring assigned areas, and providing professional customer service. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $27.38 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and support visitor and credential-verification processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, timely reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
