About The Position

As a Security Officer Turnstile Operations in Whitestown, Indiana, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment. The role calls for reliability, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

This is a full-time position paying $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit for personnel, vendors, and authorized vehicles.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, and promptly report observations through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, entrances, exits, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at access points while communicating professionally with site personnel and visitors.
