About The Position

The Security Officer patrols casino and track areas or works at a designated post. The role protects patrons and employees from illegal activity and during emergencies, and safeguards money and other assets transported to, from, and within the gaming facility, video facsimile, and cashier/cage departments. The officer assists with controlling and organizing admittance to track operation areas, investigates and records unusual occurrences and incidents in both a bound book and electronic format, verifies jackpot payouts during system outages, and monitors and reports on fire commands. The position involves standing and walking for extended periods, working indoors and outdoors year-round, and providing superior guest and external customer service through a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor. Other related duties may be assigned.

• Above-average interpersonal skills and experience.
• Desire to assist guests and treat all guests in a consistently positive manner.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods while at a post or on patrol.
