About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Salinas, California. The role supports clients across varied locations by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The driver position may involve changing work environments and responding professionally to evolving needs.

The schedule is Tuesday through Friday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
