About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location in Plainfield, Indiana, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and contractors. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site requirements.
Accurately document patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
