About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Independence, Kentucky. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. The role also involves providing customer service, communicating professionally with visitors and staff, and supporting a welcoming environment. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.50 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Wednesday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Thursday 9:00 PM–5:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Sunday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence, help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns.
Communicate professionally with visitors and staff and support a welcoming environment.
