About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Las Vegas, Nevada. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and client property by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The role includes responding to incidents and emergencies, verifying visitor authorization, and following site procedures and privacy requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Pay is $21.40 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency-response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations; document and promptly report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and help direct visitors in accordance with access-control and privacy requirements.
Maintain a professional presence and support a respectful environment for healthcare personnel and individuals receiving services.
