About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a premier retail location in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The officer will help safeguard clients, shoppers, and staff by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role requires professional customer service, communication, and responses to security-related concerns with integrity. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.46 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned retail areas, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using a problem-solving approach, and document activities according to site procedures.
Help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a visible professional presence and courteous interaction.
