About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer for a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access procedures, and responding to incidents. The role emphasizes professional customer service and communication with tenants, visitors, contractors, staff, and property management personnel. The position pays $19.50 per hour and follows a schedule of Thursday 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Friday 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Saturday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, access points, and exterior grounds.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
Provide professional assistance and directions to individuals at the location.
