Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About The Position

As a full-time unarmed perimeter patrol officer at a technology-focused location in Jacksonville, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, use computer or tablet tools as needed, provide customer service, and communicate clearly. The position is scheduled Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.73 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity; assist with badge, entry, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
