About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Boise, Idaho, you will safeguard clients at a utility location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and responders. The role supports a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The position is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
