About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time enhanced unarmed patrol compliance Security Officer in Atlanta, Georgia. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Monday, 1:00 PM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The officer will provide security and customer service at a financial institution, follow site procedures, monitor access, conduct unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and document and report activity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Applicable state or local licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and stay aware of activity in and around the location to deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter; document observations and report security concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
