About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed overnight Security Officer for a food and beverage location in Alexandria, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard the client by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and providing customer service. The role involves working with team members and visitors and supporting a people-first culture through reliable service, teamwork, integrity, agility, and innovation. Pay is $18.95 per hour, paid weekly. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Support compliance with facility visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry requirements while maintaining professional interactions with employees and guests.
