About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jacksonville, Florida, you will help safeguard the client and provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access, respond to incidents, and communicate and document relevant information. The role is full-time and pays $16.73 per hour. The schedule is 12:00 AM–8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local law before employment.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
Report irregularities and access-control concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
