About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring an entry-level, part-time Security Officer. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area, and frequently provide information and customer service to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. A valid driver's license is required, and availability for second- and third-shift work is required. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.

Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for extended periods, and to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
