About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Henrico, Virginia, you will help safeguard employees and visitors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and restricted areas, and responding to alarms and incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The role also includes providing customer service, communicating clearly, preparing reports, and following site-specific procedures and post orders. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation, as permitted by applicable law.
Successful completion of a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; report unusual activity and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related events.
