About The Position

Titan Security is hiring a Security Officer to provide high-quality security services at a client site, protecting people and property. The role involves access and visitor management, CCTV monitoring, responding to incidents and emergencies, conducting property patrols, keeping accurate records, and providing customer service to tenants and visitors. The officer reports directly to Titan Management. The work may involve interior and exterior patrols, stairs, extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and performing duties in inclement weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three years of prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or directly related experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid security license if required by the state.
Driver’s license, as applicable.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must maintain a working telephone number for contact.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 pounds.
Ability to conduct interior and exterior foot patrols and perform assigned duties in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Report directly to Titan Management.
Ensure the client site receives high-quality security services to protect people and property.
Handle escalated security issues and emergency situations appropriately.
Use access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems as needed.
Identify tenants and visitors upon arrival.
Ensure visitors and vendors sign in before accessing the building.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of tenant or building property.
Monitor security cameras within the facility.
Respond to incidents, including property emergencies.
Conduct general patrols of the property at various hours if required, including stairwell and exterior patrols in any weather conditions.
Assist tenants and visitors with directions and general business information.
Accurately record property damage, unusual occurrences, and equipment malfunctions for building and Titan management.
Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people and property, including packages.
Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty.
Perform other duties as assigned.
