About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for an AI company site in San Jose, California. This concierge-style security role has a strong customer service focus and involves welcoming and assisting visitors in a professional environment. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at an hourly wage of $25.

The officer will help protect people and property by managing access, conducting patrols, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents, and communicating security concerns. The position requires at least one year of corporate security experience, a California BSIS Guard Card and 32 hours of additional BSIS security training. The additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Requirements

• At least one year of corporate security experience.
• A California state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Technology proficiency, including basic phone and computer skills.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Include an up-to-date security resume.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
