Our Security Officers support a logistics and distribution location by conducting routine unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, shipping and receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalate concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced distribution environment.
