About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Gas Company in Everett MA. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM. Starting Pay is $22.75 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related observations using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
