About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Duncan, SC, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, deterring security-related incidents, and supporting access control. The role includes providing customer service, responding to alarms and facility needs, and documenting activity using computer or tablet systems. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as permitted by applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.

Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and potential policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
