About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer in a retail location in Bellevue, Washington, you will help safeguard clients and provide a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and other security concerns. The role calls for customer service, teamwork, integrity, and clear communication.

The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $23.30 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen; licensing may also be required under state or local law.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and report observations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervisors and client representatives.
