About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Moorestown, New Jersey. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring access, conducting facility patrols, supporting site procedures, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance. The stated pay rate is $19.36 per hour. The schedule is daytime, with listed shifts Monday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Tuesday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Wednesday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Thursday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and Sunday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred; licensing may be required before employment under applicable laws and regulations.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor entry according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, and perimeter, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while protecting confidential business information.
