About The Position

As a grave shift Security Officer at Beau Rivage, you will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. The role combines proactive property patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and providing professional guest and employee assistance. Officers are expected to work the stated primary schedule while remaining open and flexible to work outside it based on business needs. The starting rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Driver’s license as required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be open and flexible to work outside the primary schedule based on business needs.
• Must successfully attend and pass recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, and CPR/AED training and drills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including exterior areas, using a bicycle or company vehicle.
• Monitor the alarm system and surveillance cameras.
• Provide guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving them.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
• Write reports about daily activities and irregularities, including property damage, theft, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Dispatch information, messages, and emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two-way radios.
• Secure emergency scenes to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats or potential threats, summon emergency responders, and initiate and conduct evacuations.
• Successfully attend and pass recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, and CPR/AED training and drills as a condition of employment.
