About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a temporary retail assignment. The role serves and safeguards clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and conducting patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is full-time and pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
