About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, temporary Retail Patrol Security Officer. The officer will serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing client-focused security services, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
