About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a temporary, full-time Security Officer for retail patrol work. The officer will safeguard clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
