About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a temporary Security Retail Officer in Brea, California. The role involves patrolling retail and other sensitive environments, observing surroundings to anticipate risk, and responding appropriately to threats, alarms, and incidents. Officers move around throughout their shifts and help protect people and property. Multiple day and swing shifts are available; shift details will be discussed during the interview process. The hourly wage is $18.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to employees.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.

• First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
