About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. Officers observe and report activities and incidents, preserve order, and enforce site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. The role also frequently involves providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $21.00 per hour and is described as temporary.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for extended periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background; no experience is necessary, and training is provided.
