About The Position

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Orlando, Florida. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, professional communication, teamwork, and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Thursday and Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.69 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial services location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in required reports.
Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
