About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for HOA access control in Laguna Niguel, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Applicants must have more than one year of security experience. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• More than one year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Complete a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
