About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The position involves providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting patrols. The listed schedule is Thursday through Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., at locations in Ontario, Chino, or Rancho Cucamonga. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Have a current California Guard Card with training certificates.
• Have a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record for more than one year.
• Have one year of security experience.
• Have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
