About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare location in Middletown, Delaware. The role serves and safeguards clients in a pharmaceutical healthcare setting, providing a visible security presence while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations, concerns, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
