About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Lexington, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, and building personnel through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access control support, and customer service. The role involves responding to incidents and documenting observations in line with site procedures. The listed pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregularities to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
