About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and facilities. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The role is guided by teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture. The posted schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
