About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic retail location in Athens, Georgia. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, support loss prevention efforts, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate concerns clearly. The role involves providing customer service, following site-specific procedures, responding to incidents, and reporting unusual activity and hazards. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Thursday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support loss prevention efforts.
