About The Position

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients at an active logistics location in Independence, Kentucky. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, promptly report observations, and support daily operations. You will provide customer service and communicate professionally with employees and visitors while working with integrity and a caring, team-oriented approach. The position is full-time, pays $19.50 per hour, and follows a daytime schedule: Thursday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and Sunday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Allied Universal describes itself as a leading security and facility services company and offers paid training, career growth opportunities, access to additional shifts through its technology, a retirement savings plan, insurance benefits, and discounts through its Perks Program.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence and report observations promptly.
Communicate professionally with employees and visitors and support daily operations through teamwork.
