About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time armed Security Officer to serve at a financial institution in Cincinnati, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, customers, assets, and information by providing customer service, monitoring access and activity, conducting armed patrols, and responding to incidents. The role calls for a professional, visible security presence and use of applicable law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. The position pays $28 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Industry-specific security training is required; licensing may also be required under state or local regulations.

Requirements

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and remain aware of activity in and around the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting emergency services and site leadership as appropriate.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with company and site procedures.
