As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Our Screeners at a busy logistics and distribution location help monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and maintain a visible presence that helps discourage security-related incidents. This role blends customer service and communication with a caring, team-oriented culture where Allied Universal values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, offering a dynamic opportunity to support daily operations and make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen people, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, and report unusual findings, policy concerns, and/or prohibited items to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or visitors regarding screening requirements and site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
