Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and team members, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with established security-related procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment documentation when required, and document screening-related activity, incidents, and/or policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, restricted area activity, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
