As a Security Officer Security Screening in Gluckstadt, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener, where you will help monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations at a dynamic location. In this role, you will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Screen people, bags, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures and report unusual findings or activity to the appropriate contact.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by following post orders, verifying credentials, and documenting screening-related activity as needed.
