About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Visitor Registration in Accomac, Virginia, to serve and safeguard a food and beverage production location. The officer helps maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.91 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Control facility access by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation; issue visitor badges and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific procedures, and document events as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and designated production-support areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
