About The Position

As a part-time Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location in Bloomsbury, New Jersey, you will provide a welcoming and visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and communication with patients, staff, and guests. You will help address security-related concerns, maintain accurate records, and provide customer service. The role is scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at a rate of $20.05 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, patients, vendors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access records.
Monitor facility access, direct visitors to appropriate areas, and communicate entry requirements professionally and courteously.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor front-desk communications, receive incoming calls, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
