About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an educational campus in Auburn, Alabama. The officer will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide customer service while reporting concerns. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $15.10 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and campus policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and campus contacts.
