As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Collegeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points at a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with contractor and delivery access in accordance with site policies.
  • Support incident reporting, radio communication, and shift handoff activities, and follow post instructions related to hazardous work areas, restricted zones, and emergency procedures.
