As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Hope Hull, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license (for driving positions).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points, verifying credentials and documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
• Complete detailed incident, patrol, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
