About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Elko, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
A guard card/license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and medical emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other public-facing spaces to help to deter disruptions, support visitor management practices, and document security-related incidents.
Assist with de-escalation efforts, follow post orders, and maintain detailed activity logs and reports related to daily operations and/or critical events.
